Discover scuba diving – swimming pool and ocean dive
Do you want to give scuba diving a try but you aren’t sure if you are ready for a full certification yet? If your answer is YES then the discover scuba diving program is for you.
What you will learn:
- How to adapt to pressure changes as you submerge and breathe underwater.
- Key skills that you will use during the swimming pool and the ocean dive.
- The names of the sea creatures you encountered during your ocean dive.
- How you can become a fully certified Open Water diver and how you can continue your diving adventure with other courses available.
Open Water diver course
The open water diver is the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. This course consists of 3 main phases divided into 4 days of training.
- Knowledge-development sessions to understand the basic principles of scuba diving.
- Swimming pool sessions to learn basic scuba skills.
- Ocean dives to apply the scuba skills learned in the swimming pool.
Advanced Open Water course
The advanced open water diver course helps you to increase your confidence and build on your scuba skills.
You will plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a list of adventure dives.
There are 2 mandatory dives, DEEP and NAVIGATION DIVE. You will then choose 3 more for a total of 5 dives.
Emergency First Response course and Rescue Divers Course
The E.F.R and rescue diver course prepare you to deal with both minor and major dive emergencies using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises you will learn what to look for and how to respond.
During Rescue scenarios you will put into practice your knowledge and skills:
- Self-rescue
- Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
- Emergency management and equipment
- Rescuing panicked divers
- Rescuing unresponsive divers
Divemaster course
Thinking of making a career out of scuba diving?
Take diving to a new level with our divemaster course and start doing what you love. Divemaster course training develops your leadership abilities through both classroom and independent study.
The divemaster course teaches you how to lead dive activities through knowledge expansion sessions, water skills exercises, workshops and hands-on practical assessments. This course consists of the following:
- The role and characteristics of a dive master
- Supervising and assisting with student divers
- Dive safety and risk management
- Divemaster conducted program
- Business of diving and your career
- Awareness of the dive environment
- Dive set up and management
- Mapping dive sites
- Conducting dive briefing
- Organizing a search and recovery projects
- Conduct scuba reviews and skin diver courses
- Assisting with ‘discover scuba diving’ and leading local diving programs.
